Este libro se me ha hecho particularmente dificil conseguirlo gratis en internet.... hasta ahora.
Afortunadamente pude conseguirlo en formato djvu, pero lo convertí a pdf para que esté más accesible a todos los que quieran leerlo sin necesidad de programas especiales.

Reseña de Wikipedia: Climbing Mount Improbable is a 1996 popular science book by Richard Dawkins. The book is about probability and how it applies to the theory of evolution, and specifically is designed to debunk claims by creationists about the probability of naturalistic mechanisms like natural selection producing complex organisms.
The main metaphorical treatment is of a geographical landscape, upon which evolution can only ascend in a gradual way, not being able to climb cliffs (this is known as an adaptive landscape). In the book he gives various ideas about a seemingly complex mechanism coming about from many different gradual steps, that were previously unseen.
The book grew out of the annual Royal Institution Christmas Lectures which Dawkins delivered in 1991 (see Growing Up in the Universe). It is illustrated by Dawkins' wife Lalla Ward; and is dedicated to Robert Winston, "a good doctor and a good man".

Breaking the Spell: Religion as a Natural Phenomenon is a 2006 book by the American philosopher Daniel Dennett, which argues for a scientific analysis of religions and of the pros and cons of this action, in order to predict the future of this phenomenon. Dennett implies that the spell he hopes to break is not religious belief itself, but the conviction that religion is off-limits to scientific inquiry.
The book is divided into three parts. Part I discusses the motivation and justification for the entire project: Can science study religion? Should science study religion? After answering in the affirmative, Part II proceeds to use the tools of evolutionary biology to suggest possible theories regarding the origin of religion and subsequent evolution of modern religions from ancient folk beliefs. Part III analyzes religion and its effects in today's world: Does religion make us moral? Is religion what gives meaning to life? What should we teach the children? Dennett bases much of his analysis on empirical evidence, though he often points out that much more research in this field is needed.

Liberación animal (publicado en inglés en 1975; edición española en 1999) ejerció una influencia decisiva en las organizaciones que luchan por los derechos de los animales. Singer acepta la justificación de la existencia de los derechos mediante la derivación de principios utilitaristas, en particular mediante la aplicación del principio de minimización del sufrimiento.[12] Singer acepta que los derechos de los animales no coinciden con los derechos humanos, así escribe en Liberación Animal: "Sin duda existen diferencias importantes entre los humanos y otros animales, y éstas originarán diferencias en los derechos que poseen".[13] Singer ve un paralelismo entre los derechos de los animales y los derechos de la mujer; así comienza esta obra con el análisis de una comparación realizada por Thomas Taylor contra Mary Wollstonecraft en el s. XVIII. Según Taylor, si el razonamiento de Wollstonecraft en defensa de los derechos de la mujer eran correctos, entonces también "las bestias" deberían poseer derechos. Taylor creyó haber reducido al absurdo la tesis de Wollstone. Singer ve en el análisis una implicación lógica; el modus tollens de Taylor es el modus ponens de Singer.

Conducta Verbal (en inglés: Verbal Behavior) es un libro escrito en 1957 por el psicólogo B. F. Skinner en 1957. En esta obra, el autor analiza la conducta humana, cubriendo lo que tradicionalmente llamado lenguaje, lingüística o habla. Para Skinner, la conducta verbal es simplemente conducta sujeta a las mismas variables controladoras que a la otra conducta respondiente. El libro Conducta Verbal es casi completamente teórico, involucrando poco trabajo experimental por sí mismo. La obra es consecuencia de una serie de presentaciones magistrales llevadas a cabo en la Universidad de Minnesota a principios del decenio de 1940 y desarrolladas más allá en sus summer lectures (ponencias estivales) en Columbia y las William James lectures en Harvard en la década antes de la publicación del libro. Una cantidad creciente de investigación en conducta verbal se ha estado llevando a cabo desde su publicación, especialmente en la última década del siglo XX.
